Nagant gendarmerie pistool model 1877.
Zeer mooi Belgisch pistool, vervaardigd door Nagant onder Remington-patent,1e model 1877 gendarmerie.
Twee schoten,zeer sterk systeem gebaseerd op het rolbloksysteem.Centraal vuur in kaliber 9,4 Nagant.Selectieve enkele trekker,enkele actie.
De totale productie van deze pistolen was slechts 2000 stuks.Dit is een eerste "prototype"voor officieren,uiterst zeldzaam.
Bij dit model is de kolf minder lang en heeft het geen checkering,tevens ontbreekt het nokje boven de kolf.
De werking is goed,sterke veren,en spant netjes.
Het pistool is in een algeheel goede staat,originele afwerking nog veel aanwezig.Notenhouten greepjes zijn op de normale gebruikersporen na in een goede staat,en zijn niet kapot.
De lopen hebben nog duidelijke trekken en velden,wel hebben ze wat pitting,kamer is goed.
Alle fabrieks en militaire markeringen zijn aanwezig: EM en L NAGANT LUIK( fabrikanten),NAGANT PATENT,ELG met ster in een ovaal,Leeuw staande op letter G in een rechthoek
(merk van de controleur van het Belgische leger),gekroond LH (merk van militaire controleur voor een wapen afkomstig van burgers)
serie nummer is 104 en alle onderdelen hebben het zelfde nummer.
Kortom een zeer fraai,goed werkend,en zeldzaam pistool die je niet vaak tegen komt.

Very nice Belgian pistol, manufactured by Nagant under Remington patent, 1st model 1877 gendarmerie.
Two shots, very strong system based on the roller block system. Center fire in caliber 9.4 Nagant. Selective single trigger, single action.
The total production of these pistols was only 2000 pieces. This is a first "prototype" for officers, extremely rare.
In this model the stock is shorter and has no checkering, and the lug above the stock is also missing.
The operation is good, strong springs, and tensions neatly.
The pistol is in overall good condition, the original finish is still very much present. The walnut grips are in good condition apart from normal signs of wear and are not broken.
The barrels still have clear rifleling, but they do have some pitting, but the chamber is good.
All factory and military markings are present: EM and L NAGANT LIEGE (manufacturers), NAGANT PATENT, ELG with star in an oval, Lion standing on letter G in a rectangle
(mark of the inspector of the Belgian army), crowned LH (mark of the military inspector for a weapon originating from civilians)
serial number is 104 and all parts have the same number.
In short, a very nice, well-working, and rare pistol that you don't often come across.
